HUGE production UPDATE on our swimsuits!

Hey Nyamily! We finally have new updates on some of our long awaited swimsuits! We are very sorry for the long delay and we understand it has been a long time coming. When we first started this production process, we honestly did not expect how time consuming and resource intensive, this entire sampling and production process would be, but we have learned our lessons and put in 50+ hour work weeks to ensure that these swimsuits would finally see the light of day.

I'm delighted to announce that five of our beloved Phase 1 pre-order swimsuits are finally beginning production! The following swimsuits are: Moon Jellyfish, Luna Moth, Whale Shark, Galaxy Jellyfish Swimsuit, and Axolotl!

Regarding the longly awaited Moon Jellyfish swimsuit, we had to revise this design multiple times. The revision process included removing the frilled ends on the strings and the underside of the cape being white. This manufacturer said these changes were mandatory and a necessity for bulk production, other than that, we were successfully able keep the swimsuit as close as possible to the original design reference which was shared to you guys. Overall, we are thoroughly satisfied with this design other than the few setbacks we have just mentioned.



Regarding the lovely Luna Moth Swimsuit, most of the major details have already been confirmed for bulk production. One change we need to make is the frill color on the antenna, it will be changed to a more similar yellow to match the original design reference. 

We are very sorry for production of this swimsuit taking so long. We definitely underestimated how complicated the production process of a three-piece set would be. This was our first time designing and producing a three-piece set at this point, and we take full responsibility for how long it has taken to finally reach bulk production.


Regarding the brilliant Whale Shark swimsuit, we are overall happy with how this swimsuit turned out. The sampling process of this swimsuit was very straight forward, the only bottleneck was how long the manufacturer would take to respond to our requests.

The only significant change we made to the design of this specific swimsuit is that we removed the eyes because people said it looked too much like nipples LOL. 💀

Regarding the dazzling Galaxy Jellyfish Swimsuit, the production process for this swimsuit was a little bit more turbulent. The manufacturer ignored my requests to use the cream yellow color for the ribbons on the swimsuit and they instead went with a neon highlighter yellow. We were unhappy with this color as this heavily contrasted against the original design reference, but after a long time of waiting and lack of communication, they have finally listened to our request.

We are overall happy with the overall quality and look of this swimsuit now, and it will be produced in bulk just like how it looks in the original design reference!


Regarding the adorable Axolotl swimsuit, the color of the belly area and the color of the bottom frill layer were different. We communicated to the manufacturer that these colors need to be the same, and they have successfully relayed to us that these changes will be made before proceeding this swimsuit into bulk production.

Besides that, we are happy with the overall look of this swimsuit, and it is ready to go into bulk production.

Besides some minor modifications, these swimsuits are finally entering bulk production!

We really appreciate your continued support and belief in us! It is very encouraging to receive so much love from you guys throughout the years, and we are truly grateful for all of the support we've gotten, through bad times and good times.

We are very sorry about the slow rate of progress of these swimsuits, we chose to stick with this manufacturer because of the quality of the samples being very high. To be honest, we're not sure if we'll work with them again if they'll continue to be this slow with communication though! 😅

All of these swimsuits will be photographed by me sometime next week, and the photos will be posted around mid to late July. Stay tuned!

We fully expect to get these swimsuits ready for fulfillment within this quarter. (Q3 2026) As a reminder though, all delivery estimates are estimates, so nothing is guaranteed unfortunately. You are fully entitled to a full refund, exchange, or store credit refund at anytime.

UPDATE ON SWIMSUITS NOT LISTED HERE:

Rest assured that we are still working VERY hard on all of our Phase 1 pre-order swimsuits. The reason for the long wait time is that we are facing big bottlenecks with sampling. Many of the samples have been unsatisfactory for various design and/or quality reasons. We cannot give an accurate estimate of how many more rounds of sampling it will take to complete the rest of our P1 swimsuits, but we definitely need at the very least, 6 more months to ensure we have production samples that we are 100% happy with.
