Jan/Feb 2026 Production & Sampling Update: New Schedule & Progress Report

Hello, Nyamily! We're thrilled to share this detailed update on the status of our ongoing projects. As a tiny, passionate team, we've been pouring our hearts into bringing these unique designs to life amidst our move to the US and setting up our very own office. First, we want to be transparent about how we are handling updates moving forward. We are continuing to make significant progress on your items; however, we are also facing bottlenecks on specific designs.

Because we are an extremely small team and the demand for these items was significantly higher than anticipated, we are currently short-staffed. Writing detailed weekly updates is extremely time-consuming; time that we would rather spend actually working on your samples and production to get them into your hands faster. 

Your happiness is our priority. We want to reiterate that if our timeline and systems do not work for you, you are always welcome to ask for a full refund on any PHASE 1 (AKA pre-sample pre-order/design phase pre-order item). This has been our policy from the beginning: you are never obligated to wait. The New Schedule:

Monthly Updates: For the next few months (through the end of our fiscal year in March 2026), we will be doing one big monthly update. Expect two more comprehensive updates after this one.

Weekly Updates: Beginning in April 2026, we will resume weekly updates. We are currently expanding our team and dedicated this time to training new staff, ensuring they have the bandwidth and expertise to provide you with the consistent communication you deserve.

This temporary shift allows us to focus entirely on product development rather than administrative writing. Thank you for understanding that we are prioritizing the quality of the clothes over the frequency of the blog posts.

What's Been Shipped Out

Fox Hoodie & Fox Shrug: All shipped out!

What's In Production

Convertible Bags (Cecropia Moth, Death’s Head Hawkmoth, Emperor, Galaxy Moon Moth, Luna Moth): We are currently in the production phase for these bags! We’ve transitioned to a new supplier to ensure every detail meets our high standards, which has added some time to the schedule. Because these designs are so complex, we’re taking the extra time needed to get them exactly right rather than rushing them to your door.

A note on pricing: The complexity of these bags far exceeds their current price point, meaning you’ve secured a very high-value item.  Compared to others in the industry, our bags offer more detail and size for the cost. To be honest, our initial pre-order pricing didn't fully account for the intricate costs of such a complex build. While our margins on these are much slimmer than other brands, we are honored to provide such high-quality pieces at a price point that truly favors our early supporters. While we understand the wait is long, we refuse to compromise on quality to speed up the process. As always, if the timeline no longer works for you, we are more than happy to process a cancellation via email.

Current ETA: Q2 2026 (Subject to change based on manufacturing speed).Druid Bag: This is currently in production. Due to the high level of detail, it requires a longer production time, with the current ETA of Q2 2026. We are hoping to have these shipped to you in April, but please treat this as an estimate subject to change.

Whimsical Overalls: Astral Dream and Forest Tale are being manufactured right now! Phase 2 pre-orders are live, but move fast as stock is limited since production quantities are already set.

Cloudy Sky 3-Layer Skirts: In production but temporarily paused due to Chinese New Year. We will have pictures soon!

Orchid Pinafore: Beginning production!

Sakura & Wish Upon a Star Hoodie Dresses: Production is finished. The manufacturer is currently performing quality checks and tagging. Once complete, they will ship to our facility.

Bat Hoodie & Bat Wing Shrug: Currently in production.

Pigeon Hoodie & Shrug: Currently in production.

Cat Hoodie Shrug: Currently in production.

Shark Hoodie & Shrug: The shape of the hoodie is confirmed good. To avoid further delays, we had custom color swatches made; the colors were perfect, so we skipped the final sample phase and moved directly into mass production. Pictures will be provided once production is complete.

Wolf Shrug: Currently in production.

Bat Cloak: Currently in production (Please note: name changed from Bat Coat to Bat Cloak).

Strawberry Bikini: Production is finished and it has shipped to our facility. (Transit time is usually 25-35 days, and we will ship to you shortly after arrival). We will have pictures soon!

What's in Sampling & Revisions

Bat Shorts with Overskirt: Our previous supplier disappeared, so we are currently having this sampled by a new manufacturer. We are testing a few different suppliers to see which one delivers the best result.

Bat Wing Pants: Our suppliers are still actively working on these samples.

Moth Skirt Shorts (Death’s Head, Galaxy Moon, Luna Moth): The newest sample is in progress, though the supplier is moving slowly.

Whimsical Shorts (Celestial Veil, Midnight Butterfly, Wisteria Wisp): We are not happy with the current results, so we are sampling these with multiple suppliers to see who can produce the best quality.

Shark Overalls: Currently in revision!


Stargirl Dress: In sampling!

We have received new samples and are continuing work on the Abyss Hoodie/Sweatpants and Bat Two-Piece Set (resampling with a new supplier).

Fox Jacket (Oversized/Unisex): We have the most recent sample and are applying final touches before production.

Shark Jacket (Oversized/Unisex): This is a sister design to the Fox Jacket; once the Fox Jacket is finalized, the Shark Jacket will be finalized immediately as it uses the same pattern.

Forest Tale Knit Set: We are getting this resampled by a different supplier.

3-Piece Tech Wear Set: We recently paid for a new sample to be made with specific changes.

More in active sampling: Suppliers are currently working on new samples for the Archer Knit Set, Oversized Bat Cardigan, Death’s Head Hawkmoth Dress, Fox Overalls & Galaxy Moon Moth Dress

+ More animal shrugs/hoodies are in the sampling phase!

• Color/Trim Revisions: We are working on samples for the Barn Owl Hoodie/Shrug, Crow/Raven Hoodie, and Great Horned Owl Hoodie. We are still tweaking colors, details, and trims to get them right.

• Custom Color Labdips: For the Manta Ray and Moon Jellyfish hoodies, we couldn't find the right stock colors. We ordered custom color labdips which are now made, so we will be moving directly to producing the samples soon.

• General Sampling: The Deer Hoodie, Orca Hoodie, and Raccoon Hoodie are currently in the sampling stage.

Critical Bottlenecks

Stained Glass Butterfly & Stardust Butterfly Dresses: We are facing a significant bottleneck here. We have tested several suppliers and are still not satisfied with the results.

Action Plan: If we do not have a sample that meets our standards by April 2026, we will cancel these items and refund all orders.

Druid & Seraphim Jackets: Our supplier caused significant delays (approx. 6 months) and errors. They have agreed to remake the samples, so these remain in the sampling stage.

Kitsune Jacket (Black/Red & White/Red): The manufacturer has been bottlenecked for months, but she is currently remaking the sample right now.

The following items are taking longer than usual because the designs are unique and complicated, and our suppliers have never made anything quite like them before:

Swimwear

Since there are a lot of swimwear pieces in progress, we made a section here! Please note that the Strawberry Bikini is in the production section.

Sampling & Revisions

• Supplier Testing: For the Shark One-Piece, we are having it made by two different suppliers to see which option is best. For the Dark Cathedral Swimsuit, we were unhappy with previous samples and are moving to a new supplier.

• Revising Details: We are revising the final samples for the Mushroom One-Piece (Amanita & Inky Cap) and the Tulip Swimsuit.

• General Sampling: The following items are still in the sampling stage:
