Whimsical Fashion Design Showcase: The Rosarium Collection

Hey Nyamily!~ 🌹

The Rosarium Collection has easily been one of our most requested and talked-about design collections so far. Every time we've shared previews on social media, the response has been incredible, so I'm excited to finally put everything together into one place.

While we do have a dedicated Rosarium collection, we've also designed a number of separate rose and rose petal-inspired pieces. Rather than splitting them up across multiple posts, I thought it would be fun to gather them all into one giant interest check so you can see everything side by side and decide which designs speak to you most.

One of my favorite parts of these blogs has been reading your comments and seeing which pieces resonate with different people. Sometimes the designs I expect everyone to love aren't the ones that end up becoming favorites, and sometimes a design I almost overlooked ends up getting a huge amount of support. Your feedback genuinely helps us decide which concepts we should prioritize, refine, and eventually bring to life.

As you browse through the collection, let me know which pieces stand out to you, which ones you'd wear, and whether there are any details you'd like to see added or changed. Even if a design isn't your personal style, I'd still love to hear what catches your eye. After all, these collections exist because of the community that has grown around them, and it's always exciting to see which ideas spark the most excitement.

Now, let's take a look at the collection!

Roses have been a symbol of beauty, romance, and mystery for centuries, so it felt only natural for us to create an entire collection inspired by them.

Rosarium Nocturne explores a darker interpretation of floral fashion, combining dramatic rose petals, cascading ruffles, corset-inspired details, and rich crimson tones against deep black fabrics. We wanted these designs to feel elegant and romantic, while still carrying a touch of gothic fantasy.

Throughout the collection you'll find blooming rose motifs woven into every piece, from layered skirts and statement sleeves to dramatic overskirts and fitted silhouettes. Each design was created to feel like it belongs in a moonlit garden, somewhere between a fairytale and a gothic romance novel.

Whether you're drawn to bold statement pieces or subtle rose-inspired details, we'd love to hear which designs speak to you most. Let us know your favorites in the comments and which pieces you'd be most excited to see brought to life!

This collection is available in three colourways. If enough interest is shown, we'll begin by producing the red colourway first, with the possibility of introducing additional colours in the future.

1a) Rosarium Bodycon Dress in Red

1b) Rosarium Bodycon Dress in Pink

1c) Rosarium Bodycon Dress in Black

Inspired by blooming roses, the Rosarium Bodycon Dress was designed to capture the feeling of wearing a bouquet in full bloom. Layered rose petals frame the neckline and shoulders, creating a dramatic yet romantic silhouette, while the fitted shape keeps the overall look sleek and flattering. Delicate lace sleeves and corset-inspired details add a touch of fantasy and elegance, making this piece feel perfect for everything from whimsical fashion and fairycore outfits to romantic gothic and alternative styles. If you've ever wanted to dress like the main character in a storybook garden, this design was made with that feeling in mind.

2a) Rosarium Layered Ruffled Sleeves in Red

2b) Rosarium Layered Ruffled Sleeves in Pink

2c) Rosarium Layered Ruffled Sleeves in Black

We wanted these sleeves to feel like a rose in bloom. The layered ruffles mimic overlapping petals, creating a silhouette that feels dramatic, elegant, and a little bit magical. Paired with the capelet-inspired neckline and corset-style lacing, this piece can instantly elevate a simple dress or top into something that feels straight out of a fantasy story. Whether you're drawn to whimsical fashion, romantic gothic styles, fairycore aesthetics, or fantasy-inspired outfits, the Rosarium Sleeves were designed to add a touch of drama and enchantment to your wardrobe.

3a) Rosarium Layered Ruffled Pants in Red

3b) Rosarium Layered Ruffled Pants in Pink

3c) Rosarium Layered Ruffled Pants in Black

The Rosarium Layered Ruffled Pants ended up being one of the most loved designs in the collection and received a surprising amount of attention on social media. We think a lot of people were drawn to the hidden layers of rose petal-inspired ruffles tucked beneath the outer panels. From the front they look elegant and flowing, but as you walk, the petals gradually reveal themselves underneath.

We also wanted to experiment with a different take on rose-inspired fashion. Instead of placing roses on a dress or top, we incorporated them directly into the silhouette itself. Combined with the embroidered details, decorative buckles, and wide-leg shape, the result feels whimsical, romantic, and a little dramatic in the best way.

We'd love to hear what you think of this design and whether you'd wear something like this as part of your everyday wardrobe!

4a) Rosarium Bustle Skirt in Red

4b) Rosarium Bustle Skirt in Pink

4c) Rosarium Bustle Skirt in Black

If the Rosarium collection were a character, this skirt would probably be the main event! Inspired by vintage bustle skirts and blooming roses, we wanted to create a piece that felt dramatic, romantic, and unapologetically over the top. The layered draping was designed to resemble unfolding flower petals, while the corset-inspired waist helps tie the entire look together.

We can easily imagine this skirt being styled for fantasy-inspired outfits, whimsical fashion, romantic gothic looks, or even special occasions where you want your outfit to feel a little magical. It's definitely one of the bolder pieces in the collection, and we'd love to know if you'd wear something like this.

5a) Rosarium Ruffled High-Low Gown in Red

5b) Rosarium Ruffled High-Low Gown in Pink

5c) Rosarium Ruffled High-Low Gown in Black

The Rosarium Ruffled High-Low Gown was designed for those moments when subtlety simply isn't the goal. Inspired by the layered petals of blooming roses, this gown features cascading ruffles throughout the skirt, creating volume, movement, and a dramatic silhouette that feels straight out of a fantasy novel.

We wanted this piece to capture the feeling of a rose in full bloom. From the off-shoulder neckline to the corset-inspired waist and flowing high-low skirt, every element was designed to feel romantic, elegant, and a little theatrical. It's the kind of dress that instantly becomes the center of attention and was created for those who love making a statement through their clothing.

While many of the Rosarium pieces were designed to be incorporated into everyday wardrobes, this gown fully embraces the fantasy side of the collection. Whether styled for whimsical fashion, fantasy-inspired outfits, romantic gothic aesthetics, cosplay, photoshoots, formal events, or simply because you love beautiful dresses, this design was made to feel like living in your own fairytale!

6a) Rosarium Midi Dress in Red

6b) Rosarium Midi Dress in Pink

6b) Rosarium Midi Dress in Black

We wanted to create a dress that captured the feeling of the Rosarium collection while being a little easier to wear than some of the more dramatic designs. The layered neckline was inspired by rose petals in bloom, while the flowing skirt and corset-inspired details help tie it back to the rest of the collection.

Compared to some of the larger gowns and statement pieces, this design feels a bit more versatile. It's the kind of dress we could imagine being worn to a convention, a themed event, a photoshoot, a dinner outing, or simply because you love romantic and fantasy-inspired fashion. Sometimes you don't need a giant ballgown to feel like the main character!

7a) Rosarium Ruffled Shorts in Red

7b) Rosarium Ruffled Shorts in Pink

7c) Rosarium Ruffled Shorts in Black

We wanted at least one piece in the collection that felt cute, playful, and a little unexpected. These shorts were inspired by the layered petals of a blooming rose, with each tier designed to resemble overlapping flower petals. The leaf-inspired details around the waistband help complete the illusion, making the design feel like something pulled straight from a storybook garden.

Out of the entire Rosarium collection, this has actually been the most popular design so far and received an incredible amount of love from our community! We've seen so many comments from people who immediately fell in love with the silhouette, and because of that response, we're also exploring the possibility of creating a skirt version in the future.

While some of the Rosarium pieces lean more dramatic, these shorts feel much easier to throw into an everyday outfit. They're whimsical without being overwhelming, and we could easily imagine styling them with a favorite blouse, cardigan, corset top, or cozy sweater. If you've ever wanted to dress like a flower fairy but still wear shorts, this design might be for you.

8) Rose Petal Bustle Dress

If roses could become a dress, this is probably what we'd imagine they would look like. We designed the Rose Petal Bustle Dress around layers of overlapping petals, creating the feeling of a flower in full bloom. From the corset-inspired waist to the leaf and vine details, we wanted every part of the design to feel connected to the idea of a magical rose garden.

Compared to some of the more dramatic gowns in the collection, this piece feels a little more playful and character-inspired. It reminds us of something a forest fairy, storybook heroine, or fantasy princess might wear while wandering through an enchanted garden.

Although this design was not originally part of the Rosarium collection, we decided to include it here because it shares the same love of roses and floral-inspired fashion. While the Rosarium pieces focus on rose motifs throughout an entire collection, this design stands on its own as a separate concept inspired by the shape and beauty of individual rose petals.

It's romantic, whimsical, and captures many of the same themes that inspired Rosarium in the first place. If you love rose-inspired fashion, fantasy clothing, fairycore aesthetics, or simply dressing like the main character in your own story, we think this design fits right at home alongside the rest of the collection.

Also, here's a little look at the design process! The sketch on the left was one of the earlier concepts, while the version on the right is much closer to the final artwork.

A lot of our designs go through multiple revisions before they're finished. Sometimes we add details, sometimes we simplify things, and sometimes entire sections get redesigned. For this piece, we spent quite a bit of time refining the petal layers and silhouette until it felt just right.

We love sharing these early concepts because they show how much thought and iteration goes into every design before it ever becomes a product.

9) Rose Petal Lingerie

We wanted this design to feel like an actual rose flower rather than just a dress with rose details added to it. The layered petal shapes create a silhouette that looks like a blooming rose, making it one of the most unique and playful concepts in the collection.

Our favorite part is how dramatic and recognizable the shape is. Between the rose-petal layers and vine-inspired details, it feels like something pulled straight from a fantasy garden. It's definitely one of the more whimsical designs we've created, and we'd love to know what you think of it! 🌹
