I want to give you a sincere and transparent update about some of our swimsuits, especially those that have been on preorder since last May. This is truly the hardest update for me to share because I had hoped so much to get your swimsuits to you in time for summer. Sadly, it’s now clear that won’t be possible. 😞
I was just informed that several swimsuit samples won’t be completed until August. This means production won’t finish until Fall 2025, instead of this summer as originally planned. I know how disappointing and frustrating this is, especially for those of you who have already been waiting a full year. It breaks my heart to share this news because I wanted nothing more than to deliver these pieces for you this season.
I want to be clear that this delay was never part of the plan. I only recently learned of the new timeline after months of back-and-forth with a manufacturer who, unfortunately, has been extremely unprofessional. They disappeared for long stretches without updates, repeatedly increased prices, and only informed me at the last minute that they wouldn’t be able to complete the samples on time. I feel taken advantage of, and I never would have kept these items on preorder so long if I’d known how unreliable this process would become.

Which swimsuits can be delivered in time for the summer?

Which swimsuits are delayed?
The swimsuits affected are mostly from the late May 2024 design phase pre-orders, including several one-piece and two-piece styles that are still in sampling. These swimsuits are now expected to arrive in Fall 2025 instead of Summer 2025. I completely understand that many of you ordered hoping to have them for this summer, and if that’s no longer possible for you, I’m more than happy to cancel your order if needed. I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who chooses to keep their order despite the delay. It truly means a lot to me.
When will they be delivered?
I’m hoping these can be delivered by Fall 2025 as planned. However, since this manufacturer has been historically unpredictable, I’m adding a buffer and will estimate delivery for Winter 2025 instead, just to be safe. The only reason I’m still working with this manufacturer is because their quality and workmanship are amazing, and I believe the final products will be worth the wait.
Can I switch to a different item?
Yes, you’re always welcome to switch to something else of equal value or use your payment as store credit.
Can I get a refund?
Yes. If you no longer want to wait, I completely understand and will process your refund manually. Just reach out by email with your order number.
Why was this only communicated now?
The delay was only confirmed to me recently and wasn’t properly communicated earlier. This manufacturer had assured me that the swimsuits would be finished and delivered by this summer, and I trusted their word. Unfortunately, they informed me at the last minute that it wouldn’t be possible. It was incredibly difficult news to receive, and I was devastated. I truly felt like I’d let you down.
Since then, I’ve started changing how I work with manufacturers to make sure this kind of situation doesn’t happen again. Please forgive me; I’m growing and learning through all of this.
We’re still a small, young brand and we’re learning as we go. We’ve made a lot of improvements, but there’s still so much for us to learn and get better at.
Once this batch is completed, I won’t be working with this manufacturer anymore. I’m already moving forward with more reliable partners who respect both my work and the trust you’ve placed in my brand.
