Which Witch Hat Would You Wear? 8 Whimsical Designs by Nyahallo

Hi Nyamily, happy October! 🎃 It’s already almost Halloween, which is why we’ve drawn so many witch hat designs for you guys this month lol.

These were mostly for fun and to share a little spooky spirit, but we weren’t expecting so many of you to want us to bring them to life! Would you genuinely be interested in buying one if we made them? Even if you wouldn’t wear yours, it could make a cute collectible or display piece!

Looking for something available now?

Nyahallo fantasy witch hat concept art featuring eight whimsical designs inspired by moon jellyfish, water lilies, foxes, sharks, doves, seraphim, autumn leaves, and mushrooms.

Here’s a little introduction to each whimsical design and what inspired it!

1. Moonlight Jellyfish 🌙

We imagined a jellyfish floating through the ocean at night, with a scalloped brim shaped like its bell and long, sheer tentacles hanging underneath. Soft pink details and little dangling beads give it a dreamy feel. Imagine how pretty the tentacles could look moving around as you walk!

2. Water Lily Fairy 🧚

This one belongs to a little pond fairy! We paired soft green and pink with water lily flowers, trailing leaves, and delicate fairy wings. The brim has a lily-pad-inspired shape, so it almost looks like a tiny pond garden you can wear.

3. Fox 🦊

A cozy autumn witch hat with fluffy fox ears! We used warm rusty orange with a dark tip, then added leaves and red berries around the brim. This one would be so cute for a woodland witch outfit, especially paired with our fox-themed clothing.

4. Shark 🦈

Of course we had to make a shark one lol. This design has fins, ocean waves, and a whole row of teeth around the brim! The curved point gives it a slightly mischievous look, like a shark decided to try being a witch for Halloween.

5. Dove 🕊️

For this one, we went with soft cream colours, feather details, and a little gold crescent moon. The wings frame the hat, with dangling feathers underneath and a small floral arrangement at the side. We wanted it to feel gentle and peaceful, like something a healing witch might wear.

6. Seraphim 👁️

This one takes inspiration from angelic imagery, with lots of wings, eyes, gold rings, and little hanging stars. We chose a dark base to make the cream feathers and gold details stand out. A little heavenly, a little mysterious, and maybe slightly unsettling too!

7. Autumn Leaves 🍂

Basically, our love for fall turned into a hat! This design is covered in overlapping leaves in orange, brown, and green, with berries and dangling acorns tucked between them. We wanted it to look like something gathered straight from an enchanted forest floor.

8. Mushroom Stump 🍄

We imagined an old tree stump slowly becoming home to a tiny woodland garden. The twisting, bark-like hat is covered in climbing leaves, little flowers, and mushrooms growing out of the sides. There are so many little whimsical details tucked into this one. It feels like a home for a very small forest creature!

  • 2 and 5 are my faves because you don’t often see designs in those colors/themes!
I’m also a big sucker for 3 (ears on most anything are great! XD) but I know that witch hats with ears do exist already on the market (and ChollyKnight sells a pattern for making them)
