What is Nyahallo?

Welcome to Nyahallo, a Canadian-owned indie fashion brand built on a love for pop culture, whimsical design, and alternative aesthetics. Our mission is to bring charm, emotion, and individuality into fashion. We create unique yet wearable pieces that stand out from the sea of mass-produced styles.

Everything in our shop is designed with care by Jen (owner, designer, and illustrator) and Ana (designer and long-time friend), with help from Jen’s family during busy times. From first sketch to final shipment, every product reflects the passion and intention behind the brand.

Meet the Creators

Jen – Founder, Designer, Illustrator

Hi! I’m Jen, the founder of Nyahallo. I’m a designer, illustrator, daughter, older sister, 1.5-generation immigrant, and full-time creative. I’ve always been drawn to the arts, and during the pandemic I took the leap to turn that creative spark into a business.

Today, I get to do what I love by creating fashion inspired by fantasy, nature, and emotion. I also love food, gaming, traveling, and learning new languages. This brand is both my dream and my passion, and I’m so thankful for everyone who supports it.

Ana – Designer & Artist

Ana is the other half of our design team and has been my best friend for over 11 years. She officially joined Nyahallo in June 2023 and has been bringing her magical touch to our designs ever since.

Ana is a freelance illustrator who blends anime and kidlit styles. Her work is inspired by dreams, nature, folklore, and music. You can find more of her art on Instagram, X, Pinterest, and other platforms under @blanchiame.

Nyahallo is still small, and when things get busy, I’m lucky to have support from my family.
