Whimsical Fashion Design Showcase: Bunny Bakery Collection

Here's our newest collection! This one is so fresh that, at the time of writing and publishing this blog, we haven't even shared it on social media yet.

Rather than focusing on a specific rabbit character, we wanted the collection to feel like it belonged to a cozy bunny-owned bakery. From the pastry-inspired layers to the warm caramel color palette, every detail was designed to evoke the feeling of freshly baked treats and a welcoming countryside café. Bunny Bakery was designed around the cozy, storybook-inspired elements that we often associate with whimsical fashion.

1) Bunny Bakery Prairie Dress

Cottagecore bunny bakery prairie dress with detachable sleeves, layered apron-inspired skirt, lace details, bunny print accents, and a large back bow in warm pastry-inspired brown and cream tones.
The Bunny Bakery Prairie Dress is the centerpiece of the collection, inspired by cozy countryside bakeries, fresh pastries, and whimsical cottagecore fashion. It features a layered silhouette with a chocolate brown overskirt that reveals a custom bunny print beneath, accented with lace trim, ribbons, and romantic puff sleeves.

One of our favorite details is the detachable sleeves, allowing the dress to be styled in multiple ways. The warm bakery-inspired color palette and large bow at the back help create a sweet, storybook-inspired look that feels both elegant and playful. We imagined this piece as something a rabbit baker might wear while serving fresh pastries in a tiny countryside bakery.


2) Bunny Bakery Prairie Top

Whimsical Bunny Bakery prairie blouse design with oversized puff sleeves, embroidered bunny motifs, ribbon neck bow, warm brown and cream colors, and a cozy cottagecore bakery-inspired style.

This top became one of the pieces that really defined the overall feel of the Bunny Bakery collection. We wanted it to feel cozy, vintage-inspired, and like something you might find in a charming countryside bakery.

The oversized puff sleeves are our favorite detail, giving the top a soft and romantic silhouette resembling bread buns. Warm brown and caramel tones were chosen to reflect the bakery theme, while the sleeping bunny motifs and wheat accents add a subtle touch of personality.

Although it was designed to pair with the matching apron skirt, we think it would look just as cute styled with bloomers, jeans, or other cottagecore and whimsical fashion pieces.

3) Bunny Bakery Apron Skirt

Cottagecore bunny bakery apron skirt design with layered ruffles, lace details, bunny motif apron panel, and warm brown pastry-inspired colors for a whimsical fashion collection.

The Bunny Bakery Apron Skirt was inspired by vintage bakery aprons and layered pastry designs. We wanted it to feel playful and cozy, with lots of movement and texture throughout the silhouette.

The front apron panel features the Bunny Bakery crest, while the layered overskirt creates a look reminiscent of stacked cake layers or freshly baked pastries. We also added plenty of ruffles throughout the design to give it a soft, storybook feel.

Although it was designed to pair with the matching Prairie Top, we think this skirt could easily become a staple piece for anyone who loves cottagecore, whimsical fashion, or bakery-inspired outfits.


4) Bunny Bakery Swimsuit 

Cottagecore bunny bakery swimsuit concept featuring layered ruffles, puff sleeves, apron-inspired bodice details, and a warm brown and cream color palette inspired by bakery aesthetics.

We wanted the Bunny Bakery Swimsuit to feel like it belonged in the collection while still being fun and a little silly. The design takes inspiration from bakery aprons, vintage maid outfits, and classic ruffle swimwear, resulting in a piece that feels playful, feminine, and unmistakably Bunny Bakery.

The layered ruffles and decorative bow details give the swimsuit a sweet, dessert-like appearance, while the warm brown and cream color palette ties it back to the rest of the collection. 
And yes, as the design notes point out, it definitely showcases the "buns." We figured a bunny-themed swimsuit deserved at least one bunny-related joke!
5) Bunny Bakery Lounge Set

Bunny bakery themed lounge set fashion concept featuring a cozy oversized sweater with a bunny pastry emblem, ruffled shorts, puff sleeves, and warm brown and cream colors inspired by cottagecore cafés and bakery aesthetics.


Every collection needs a cozy piece, and the Bunny Bakery Lounge Set was our answer to that. We wanted something that captured the warm, comforting feeling of spending a quiet morning in a bakery with a fresh pastry and a hot drink in hand.

The oversized sleeves and relaxed fit give the set a soft, comfortable silhouette, while the ruffled shorts add a playful touch that keeps it feeling cute rather than plain. We also carried over the Bunny Bakery crest from the rest of the collection to help tie everything together.

While many of the other pieces are designed for dressing up, this set was created with comfort in mind. It's the kind of outfit we'd imagine wearing while sketching new designs, reading a book, or spending a cozy day at home surrounded by your favorite treats.

Are these designs real products? Not yet, but they can be. These pieces are currently concept art and interest checks. Designs with enough community interest may eventually become real products.
