Pre-Order Policies
Two Pre-Order Phases
1. PHASE 1 AKA Pre-sample (Design Phase) Pre-Orders
The terms design phase pre-order and pre-sample pre-order are used interchangeably within the industry. This phase is based on concept art only, meaning the item is still being developed and sampled from scratch. Because of this, the estimated wait time is typically 1–1.5 years or longer. These pieces are in the earliest stages of design, and orders are placed based on concept illustrations before physical samples have been produced.
Minor differences between concept art, samples, and final production may occur due to material availability, manufacturing limitations, or necessary refinements. We strive to maintain the integrity of the original design.
2. PHASE 2 AKA Regular Pre-Orders
This is the more traditional pre-order format you may be familiar with. A finished sample or prototype already exists, and you’re ordering based on that finalized version. These usually take 2–6 months, depending on whether production has already begun.
By placing a pre-order, you acknowledge that you have read and understand which phase the item is currently in, including the estimated wait time associated with that phase. If at any point you no longer wish to continue with your pre-order for any reason, you agree to contact support@nyahallo.com directly so we can assist you with a solution.
Refunds, Cancellations & Exchanges
We want you to feel confident in your order and truly love your piece. You may request a full refund at any time before your item ships by emailing support@nyahallo.com.
Exchanges are handled on a case-by-case basis. In most situations, we’re happy to accommodate exchange requests because we want you to truly love your piece. Simply email us and we’ll be glad to assist you.
Chargeback Policy
We kindly ask that you contact us before filing a chargeback, as initiating one without first reaching out goes against our store policy.
If a chargeback is filed without attempting resolution, the order may be canceled and future purchases may be restricted.
Our team is always happy to help and can process refunds directly upon request. Simply email support@nyahallo.com, and we’ll take care of it for you. Once the refund is issued on our end, please allow your bank a few business days to complete the processing, as timing can vary.
Communication, Timelines & Updates
₊˚⊹ ᰔ Updates
⟡ Where are updates shared? Updates are posted across our social media platforms, primarily on our Instagram page and stories, as well as through our email newsletter (we recommend subscribing to stay informed).
⟡ How often will I receive updates? Update frequency varies depending on the item and stage of development. Rather than sending frequent messages with minimal progress, we prioritize sharing meaningful updates, for example, when a new sample is completed instead of simply noting that production is ongoing.
Updates may range from monthly to every few months, depending on progress.
We previously maintained a weekly update blog, but at this time it is more sustainable for our team of three to focus our energy on sampling and production. We plan to reinstate smaller, regular blog updates in Q2 2026 as we continue to grow.

₊˚⊹ ᰔ Estimated Timelines
⟡ PHASE 1 (Design Phase Preorders/Pre-Sample Pre-Orders) typically take 12-18 months+ depending on the item. These are early-stage orders placed before sampling begins and are more likely to experience changes or delays during development.
⟡ PHASE 2 (Regular Preorders) which are items that have completed sampling) have an estimated wait time of approximately 2-6 months, depending on production volume and supplier schedules.
Timeline estimates are provided by quarter (Q1, Q2, Q3, Q4) based on our supplier’s projected production schedule. Because each piece is made by a small, family-owned team, timelines may shift if additional time is needed. We fully support allowing our partners the flexibility to work at a sustainable and comfortable pace. Additionally, production timelines may be affected by factors outside of our control, including shipping delays or global supply disruptions.
Payment
Pre-orders are charged in full at the time of purchase. This secures your item and allows us to begin production planning.
Address Changes & Reshipping
If your shipping address changes while you are waiting for your order, please contact us as soon as possible at support@nyahallo.com. We cannot guarantee changes after an order has entered the fulfillment stage. If an address change was not communicated before shipment, we’re happy to reship your item; however, an additional shipping fee will apply.
Shipping & Customs
While we do ship internationally, we are a U.S. and Canada–based online store, and the majority of our customers are located in North America.
Because we are based in the United States and Canada, orders shipped within the U.S. and Canada are not subject to additional tariffs. This does not apply to the EU or other international destinations. If you are ordering from outside the U.S. or Canada, please understand that you are making an international purchase and may be subject to additional import charges upon delivery.Last Updated: 2/10/2026
