Quick Update

UPDATE 12/10/2025: I’m unable to reply to comments, so if you need customer service or have any questions, please reach out through support@nyahallo.com or the website chatbox.
Please don’t use comments for customer service inquiries. Thank you!
I also wanted to clarify a question someone had about what “expanding to the US” means, especially for our Canadian customers. US orders will ship from the US, and Canadian orders will continue shipping from Canada. Since over 90% of our customers are based in the US, moving fulfillment there is important so American customers aren’t charged tariffs. Thank you for understanding while we take these steps to make things easier for everyone.

Hi everyone. I wanted to share a clearer note about delays and long timelines, since there have been a few misunderstandings and I’d rather be open about everything.

Some of our pre-order items - especially early design-phase ones - really do take a long time to produce, on average over a year. This has confused people, and some have even assumed it means we’re a scam. We aren’t. We’ve always delivered finished items, honored refunds, and replied to support emails. Being a very small brand with no formal fashion training, I initially assumed each item would take around six months to complete. We quickly learned that developing a custom piece from scratch can take double or triple that time. Every item that hasn’t had a full release yet (with photos and full production) is still in active sampling. It’s simply taking a long time to perfect everything.

This past year was also affected by the global tariff situation. Nyahallo started as a Canadian brand, but most of our customers are in the US. New tariffs made shipping and production trickier, and instead of passing those costs onto customers, I made the decision to expand our operations to the US. That transition took much longer than expected. The move made it difficult to work and update consistently. I’m really sorry. I genuinely didn’t expect things to take this long.

I originally planned to be fully moved in by November 6 (as I mentioned in my previous update), but holiday-season delays pushed everything back by almost three weeks. The good news is I finally received a confirmed timeline, and I’ll be moving into the new office a few days before Black Friday. Once everything is set up, I’ll be able to hire help, get things organized again, and return to weekly updates like before.

If the wait ever feels too long for you, please email support@nyahallo.com with your order number. We’re always happy to answer questions or issue a full refund.

Thank you for your patience and for supporting a small indie brand. I appreciate everyone who enjoys what we create and sticks with us as we grow 💗
