Just a small check-in (next major drop in May)
Hi nyamily, Jen here. I just wanted to do a quick check-in and share a few thoughts, because transparency really matters to me.
I’ve seen some concerns about long wait times, and I completely understand them. The delays have been longer than I originally expected, and I take responsibility for that. We are actively working to complete everything, and I truly empathize with anyone feeling frustrated.
I never want anyone to feel stuck or uncomfortable waiting. If you’d prefer not to continue, you can always reach out for a full refund or switch to another item. Please only continue if you feel comfortable and trust the process.
I also want to acknowledge feedback about customer service. We’ve improved a lot over time, and I work closely with my assistant to make sure emails are being answered consistently. Even so, I know it only takes one missed message or negative experience to leave a strong impression, and I take that seriously.
As for the comment that I may have taken on too much, that’s fair. Early on, I was very eager to meet demand and may have overcommitted. Since then, I’ve gone through a major move between countries, which added unexpected delays. It wasn’t something I could fully plan for, but it did slow things down.
One of our sample racks! Some pieces still need ironing and final touches, but here’s a little behind-the-scenes peek.
The good news is that things are much more stable now. I have a warehouse/office space, a more balanced workflow, and I’m focused on completing preorders while continuing to release new pieces. As you’ve seen with recent drops, we’ve been able to fulfill older orders alongside new releases, and that’s the direction moving forward.
Going into May (around mid to late May), we’re planning a drop focused mostly on P2 products, with updates on specific items shared then.
I really appreciate everyone who has been patient and supportive. I know it’s not easy to trust a small brand online, and I don’t take that lightly. The support and understanding I’ve seen genuinely mean a lot.
I’ve also started sharing more blogs and behind-the-scenes content to give more insight into what we’re building. Whimsicality is at the core of everything I design alongside my best friend and co-designer, and I wanted to share more about that perspective.

The transparency is greatly appreciated. I ordered a mushroom swimsuit almost two years ago at this point and it’s nice to see it’s been mentioned lately. Admittedly I did get a bit nervous when new stuff was coming out and being shipped while I was sitting in a corner like
🥺 Mushroom?
I will be steadfast in my waiting though, from the samples I’ve seen it’s gonna be awesome. I can’t wait until the bee one piece I ordered starts getting updates too. :)Amelia on

For me the main thing was the few and far between updates with visible progress (like pictures of the current progress of the sample), but seeing the first actual picture of the real jacket in a full year, you have no idea how hyped I am right now for the update 😂
Wishing you all good luck!
