Wow, we’ve officially reached one full month of weekly updates at Nyahallo!
I’m so happy to bring you Week 4 of progress. The response to these weekly check-ins has been really encouraging so far, but I’ve noticed some confusion I’d like to clear up.
A few customers have asked when their specific item will be updated. Just to clarify these weekly posts reflect progress made during that week. If your item isn’t listed, it typically means it's still in sampling or production, and there wasn’t a new milestone to report. But that doesn’t mean it’s on pause. It’s very much still being worked on behind the scenes!
About the Animal Hoodies Update & Email Subscriptions
Last week, we began sending more specific item-based updates directly to customers via email. However, the Animal Hoodie updates were delayed and will be sent out this week instead. That’s because we had a huge number of orders for these...thousands, in fact!
Many of you aren’t subscribed to the email newsletter yet, so before I start sending hundreds of individual updates manually, I want to kindly ask everyone to subscribe to the Nyahallo newsletter. Please make sure you’re not just in "pending" mode, you need to fully confirm your subscription in order to receive these updates.
Subscribing helps me get information to you much faster, and it keeps you in the loop for product updates, estimated timelines, and more.
What did we send updates to at Nyahallo this week?
This week at Nyahallo, we sent item-specific email updates to customers who ordered the Sakura and Wish Upon a Star hoodie dresses, the Whimsical Overalls, and shared information regarding delays for the swimsuit orders. If you ordered any of these items, please check your inbox (and promotions or spam folders just in case) for the latest progress update.
I also want to note that some of you checked out using only a phone number with no email, so we're still in the process of sending out text-only updates for those orders.
Sample Updates
This week we received the updated sample for the Strawberry Bikini and Cover-Up. After several unsatisfactory attempts with a previous manufacturer, we had it fully remade with a new one. The same goes for the Bat Swimsuit and its cover-up, which is also being reworked. We also received the Moth Dresses, Moth Shorts with Overskirts, and the Shark Swimsuit sample. I haven’t filmed them yet, but I’ll be recording and editing sample testing videos soon.
What’s Being Photographed?
We’re still photographing and editing the Moth Bags, Moth Shorts, and Shirts. Yes, we really do all this ourselves! As a small business, it’s part of the process. Listings will be updated one by one throughout the coming week.
Updated Policy Changes
We've updated our shop policies to be more flexible and clear for customers. The return window is now 14 days after delivery, as long as items are unworn, unused, and in original condition. All cancellations are accepted before shipping, with no fees for delays or pre-sample pre-orders. We continue to offer low shipping rates, and in some cases of long delays, we may cover shipping costs ourselves or send partial orders at no extra charge. These changes are part of our effort to improve your experience as Nyahallo grows.
What’s to Come
Several new updates about individual items are on the way. Since there are many items in the shop, I plan to send a few updates each week and aim to have every single item receive an update by the end of August. Please allow me about a month to get through them all! Thank you for your patience and support.
