Whimsical Fashion Design Showcase: Sakura Witch Collection

Hey Nyamily! I've started getting into the habit of showing you all my new collections here before I post them on social media, so you're officially the very first people to see them. I think that's pretty exciting!

Anyways, here's the next collection! This one is called Sakura Witch. As you can probably guess, it's inspired by cherry blossoms and witches. We thought it would be fun to combine the two into one whimsical collection, and honestly, I think they fit together perfectly.

Concept art for the Cherry Blossom Witch collection featuring a whimsical cherry blossom dress, corset top, shrug, asymmetrical skirt, mini skirt, and sakura-inspired spellbook crossbody bag in soft pink and dark plum.

Also, if there are any themes you'd love to see us design in the future, whether it's magical girls, animals, or something completely different...let us know in the comments! We always try to create pieces we think you'll love, so we'd love to hear your ideas.

Looking for something available now?

1) Sakura Witch Dress

Illustrated interest check for the Sakura Witch Layered Dress, featuring front and back views of a whimsical cherry blossom-inspired dress in dark plum and blush pink with layered petal skirts, puff sleeves, scalloped ruffle details, and a large back bow.

This is definitely the centerpiece of the collection. It's giving magical girl... if she decided to become a witch instead. The layered petal skirt, oversized back bow, and cherry blossom details make this one feel straight out of a whimsical story. Would you wear it?

2) Sakura Witch Corset Blouse

Illustrated interest check for the Sakura Witch Corset Blouse, featuring front and back views of a whimsical cherry blossom-inspired blouse in dark plum and blush pink with a lace-up corset bodice, sheer puff sleeves, petal-shaped hem, floral neck detail, and lace-up back.

I also really love this corset blouse. It has such a soft, romantic feel while still looking a little witchy. The sheer puff sleeves, lace-up corset bodice, and little cherry blossom choker tie everything together. I can picture this paired with skirts, jeans, or even layered under overalls.

3) Sakura Witch Petal Top and Shrug

Illustrated interest check for the Sakura Witch Petal Top, featuring front and back views of a whimsical cherry blossom-inspired top in dark plum and blush pink with petal-shaped hem, lace-up corset bodice, layered bell sleeves, floral neck detail, and sakura blossom sleeve lining.

Welp... guess who forgot to put "shrug" in the title? 😂 This is actually a lace-up tube top with a whimsical matching flowy shrug! We originally pictured them as a set, but now I'm wondering... should they stay together, or would you rather see them as two separate pieces? Let me know what you think!

4) Sakura Witch Spellbound Bag

Concept art of the Sakura Witch spellbook crossbody bag featuring cherry blossom details, a pentagram cover, faux book pages, magnetic flap closure, and adjustable shoulder strap in pink and dark plum.

We had way too much fun designing this one. The idea was to create a whimsical bag that literally looks like an old spellbook, complete with book-page sides, cherry blossom details, a pentagram emblem, and a little sakura zipper charm. It even has a magnetic flap & snap and a front pocket for your smaller essentials!

What do you think? Would you carry a spellbook bag like this?

5) Sakura Witch Asymmetrical Petal Skirt

Illustrated interest check for the Sakura Witch Petal Skirt, featuring front and back views of a whimsical cherry blossom-inspired wrap skirt in dark plum and blush pink with layered ruffles, petal-shaped hem, embroidered sakura blossoms, and crescent moon accents.

We wanted to include at least one skirt that could be mixed and matched with the rest of the collection, and this ended up being the result. The layered ruffles give it so much movement, while the cherry blossom embroidery and little crescent moon add just enough witchy charm. I can picture it paired with the corset blouse, the petal top, or even a simple sweater for everyday wear.

What do you think? Would this be a piece you'd wear on its own, or as part of the full Sakura Witch set?

6) Sakura Witch Layered Skirt

Illustrated interest check for the Sakura Witch Layered Skirt, featuring two views of a whimsical cherry blossom-inspired petal skirt in dark plum and blush pink ombré with scalloped lace trim and a large back bow.

If this skirt could win an award for the cutest skirt ever...I genuinely think it'd have a pretty good chance. I mean, just look at those layered petals! We even added a big, whimsical bow on the back because, honestly, why not? Sometimes more is more!

  • The stand outs of this collection for me are the asymmetrical skirt and petal top. I think they would make an amazing spring and summer outfit.
