I absolutely adore the design and quality of this purse. I'm absolutely obsessed with strawberries at the moment and the second I saw this I fell in love and ordered it.
Really cute purse in person and big enough to really carry stuff around.

Hi Nyamily! /ᐠ ˵> ⩊ <˵マ It’s Jen!
It’s been a while since our last full product update, and I want to thank you for your patience. After two big moves and months of supervising the sample development of 100+ items with a team of just 2 people, things have been very busy behind the scenes. While I’ve shared bits and pieces on social media, I now realize how long it’s been since a proper update here on the site. I’m truly grateful you’ve stuck with me, and I’m committed to being more consistent going forward.
This post covers everything you need to know: the status of each collection, what caused delays, what we’re working on, and an exciting announcement about where Nyahallo is headed next.
All swimsuits from our Summer 2024 preorder lineup are currently in the final stages of development. Many of the styles have already been finalized, and I’ve gone ahead and placed bulk orders for several of them.
Right now, I’m coordinating with our models to send out the finalized pieces so we can begin content production. New photos and videos are on the way soon, and once those are ready, the swimsuits will go live for regular preorder. I can’t wait for you to see how they turned out. They’re some of my favorite pieces we’ve made.
Animal Hoodies and Shrugs
These are all moving forward as planned, and new sample photos have been posted!
Any leftover samples are in the works. I'll share more updates as soon as additional samples are finalized.
Bodycon Sweater Dresses
These are almost done. Our manufacturer needed a short extension, but production is wrapping up and they’ll be shipped to me soon.
Queen of Hearts Cropped Sweater
This one faced a few unexpected challenges. The original manufacturer completely dropped off the map, and I had to source a new one to start from scratch. Around that same time, I had a personal loss in the family and had to step away to attend my grandfather’s funeral. The delay was significant, and I should’ve communicated better through it. I’m really sorry about that. Thankfully, the sweaters are now finished and on their way. If you’d prefer a refund instead, feel free to email support@nyahallo.com and we’ll take care of it right away.
All other Items
Work in progress. I’ll keep you posted as soon as more samples are finished.
The production timeline has been longer than I expected. Manufacturers initially estimated samples would be ready in one to two months, but in reality, it’s taken much longer. Our designs are detailed and require multiple rounds of revisions to get them right.
Moving forward, I’m estimating 6 to 8 months for sampling, plus an additional 3 months for production and delivery. That brings the full process to about 9 to 12 months from concept to completion.
To improve efficiency, we’re limiting design concept preorders (unless the sample is almost ready) until more samples are finished and will continue releasing updates less products at a time. I’ve also been sharing progress videos and asking for feedback through social media, which has helped a lot. Incorporating those suggestions takes more time, but it’s worth it to get everything just right.
I may write a future blog post explaining the full sample development process — from tech packs to fitting to revisions — to help shed more light on why it takes so long.
We’ve been posting semi-regular updates over on our preorder catalog: https://nyahallo.com/pages/pre-order-updates — and it’s still being updated! That said, I realize I should have been sharing more updates through blog posts on the website and apologize for the oversight.
The past few months have been intense. I’ve relocated twice since December and haven’t fully settled yet, which has made it hard to stay consistent. Along with my personal life, I want to share that I've been overseeing the development of over 100 samples, handling communication with manufacturers, designing, managing all social media, creating and posting design content, photography, photo and video editing, and producing all visual assets. I've also been coordinating with models, artists, technical designers, and more — essentially managing every creative and operational aspect of the brand, and I personally still actively design and draw for my own brand along with working with my brilliant codesigner Blanchiame and other artists. As you can imagine there's been an overwhelming amount of work, and my living situation made it difficult for me to hire.
Nyahallo has grown a lot recently, and I’m definitely feeling that growth. My plan is to get fully settled in the next six months and build more in-person support around me. Until then, I’m doing my best to show up more consistently online and here on the blog.
Please, please please remember that when you support my brand, you're supporting a small business. Even though I have a large following on social media, it doesn't mean I'm a big corporation. This company is the vision of one woman, Jen, and with the help of my small team, we're doing everything we can to make you all happy. Your kindness and understanding truly mean the world to me.
I’m excited to finally share some good news. Because of Nyahallo’s growth over the past year, we’ll be moving into our very first commercial workspace — and hiring locally!
